Service and Maintenance: Keeping Our Equipment Rental Ready

It is important to take care of the hardworking equipment rented by our customers. That’s why it is essential to keep the fleet ready to rent at all times. A successful preventative maintenance and inspection program takes place both pre- and post-rental, and we take our commitment to this program very seriously. At Partner Rentals, we have made preventative maintenance and inspections a priority so we will service the equipment on a job site or at one of our locations.

Pre-rental maintenance

It is very important for the equipment to receive certain pre-rental maintenance for our equipment to be rental ready at all times. That is why we maintain all the equipment. We check in on the equipment:

  1. Rent Ready Inspections – After the equipment is checked in from the previous rental, we clean the piece of equipment so that it is nice and shiny and get rid of any dirt or grease from the previous job. Afterwards, it goes through a Rent Ready Inspection. This process ensures that the equipment is clean, operational, and safe for the next customer.
  2. Preventative Maintenance and Inspections – Like your own vehicle, our equipment has a preventative maintenance schedule, and we perform maintenance on a periodic basis, at our store or the customer’s job site. Aerial equipment and cranes require periodic and annual inspections to ensure that the equipment is in proper working order and safe for use as regulated by ANSI.

When meeting with the customer, whether at the rental yard or delivering the machine to a jobsite, we do a machine walkaround, also known as a Check Out Inspection, and take detailed photos of its condition. These pre-rental photos can come in handy down the road.

Servicing equipment

If your rental needs to be serviced, we can do it on-site or back at our yard. Mechanic labor can be provided to you. We will also provide repairs for our customers’ equipment. Most parts are ordered directly from manufacturers to pass savings on to the customer. It is important to us that all equipment is in top shape for our customers.

Post-rental maintenance

Whether the equipment was rented for a few hours or a few weeks, all equipment goes through a standard return process, also known as a Check In Inspection, to assess its condition. While doing this inspection, the equipment is assessed for any service or maintenance it may need after being used. The process for returned equipment is the same as when it is ready to be rented by a customer to maintain that the equipment it clean, operational, and safe for the next customer to rent. It is important to get machines back to rental ready as soon as possible, and the customer will know they are renting quality, safe equipment.

You can be assured that the equipment you rent from Partner Rentals is maintained so that it can be safely rented.
